I didn't know Chuck well, but remember him from pre-RHS days as a really decent, likable guy. God's comfort and blessings on his family.

I knew Chuck at Hillcrest Elementary. I remember he used to bring his lunch and he would have a spoonful of some sort of cream with his lunch, which for some reason I found a little disquieting as regards my appetite. Funny how little things like that stick with you. I used to wait for stew day, and I accidentally poured a whole shaker of salt on the stew. I loved the stew so much, that I tried it anyway, and that did it for me on stew for quite some time. Those were the good years of a good hot lunch at school until Ronald came along, and that was the end of that. But Chuck, I remember you very well and felt a real pang of pain on hearing of your passing. May you have a good journey, as the Native Americans say, Chuck, see you in the next one up ahead, whatever form that takes, you were a good guy, all through to our senior year, lost a good one, here, folks. God Bless you, Chuck.
