I will never forget John.  I went through all of grade school with him at Henry Ford Elementary as well as Mcknight JHS and RHS.  In grade school, John never missed one of my birthday parties and I will always remember the crush he had on my neighbor in 6th grade, who was our same age, but went to St Anthony's Catholic school.  He was one of the best basketball players RHS ever had!  RIP John.

Well said Jeanne.  I was on the same championship team with John.  Not only was he one of the best in RHS history he was one of state's best.  A great teammate as well.  We all miss him.--Mike Willis

John has been gone for quite some time now, but he will never be forgotten.  He was a great long time friend.

I didn't realize John has been gone that long.  I really liked him, he was a good guy.

John lived just down the street from me and one block over west.  I went through grade school, junior high and high school with him.  You could always see john coming down the hallway because he was so tall.  As kids we used to play at each other’s house.  He had a Lionel train set and I had an American flyer train set.

My mom sent me the news article when he died while I was in the Military.  I was very saddened by his sudden passing. He was a very pleasant, kind and polite person to everyone.  I remember I was walking to school in a drenching rain and John had his dad stop so that I could ride to school with him and his dad.
